Jon Shiancoe, P. E.
Jon Shiancoe has 10 years of civil engineering experience working in Maryland and Virginia on a diversity of projects and different scales. As a project engineer, he brings a solid capability to any project. His experience spans the full range of project design and construction phases including initial conceptual and theoretical design through to construction administration. Jon takes pride in his commitment to both a high level of design quality and accuracy through the full life cycle of any project.
He has particular expertise is design and preparation of stormwater management plans, sediment control, water and sewer utility design, site grading, flood plain studies, and site detailing. He has developed successful Preliminary and Permit Plans in the very demanding regulatory environment of Montgomery County, Maryland (Metro Washington).
Jon is quite interested in green building and has experience in Low Impact Development and sustainable design initiatives. Jon’s expertise is a valuable asset on Greening Urban projects combining both a commitment to sustainability with a sound understanding of the practicalities of civil engineering.
