Greening Urban provided full civil engineering and construction administration for the demolition of the existing Edgewood Community Center, construction of the new Edgewood Recreation Center, renovated / new football field, along with extensive site renovation including a new playground and gym.

Greening Urban addressed a multitude of regulatory, green building, and existing infrastructure constraints and requirements. We provide innovative options for addressing these concerns with an integrated design approach for stormwater mitigation and material use. GU handled these issues in a way that helped meet the regulatory and green building requirements for the project. We also provided technical support to meet LEED certification. A large component of the project was the redesign of the existing football field into new permeable turf field.
